Hello Triton Family~

We know these unprecedented times have been an incredible adjustment on so many levels. We wanted to post information on behalf of the SideOut Booster Club and Head Coach Casey Swenson, to give you a heads up on the fluid, ever-changing nature of our upcoming events. We would also invite you to follow our Instagram account (@tritongirlsvolleyball), as we will always use that platform as well as email and our website for important announcements.

Tryouts for the 2020 season will not take place as originally scheduled (June 8-11). SCHS has moved the CIF dead period for all sports from mid-July to June 5th-19th. As soon as we receive confirmation from the district as to when we can resume group activities, we will let everyone know. We as a booster club, are continuing to put one foot in front of the other to plan and prepare for this event so that as soon as we are given the “green light,” we can take action to get all of our girls back in the gym. We are hopeful to reschedule for sometime in July. If we are able to make it work earlier, we will try to do so, keeping mind the ever changing guidelines/restrictions of club volleyball and possible end of season tournaments as well, should they take place.

As far as the voluntary donation suggestion, that will be TBD. Due to the unknown COVID-19 impact to our program, a suggested program donation amount will be shared with interested families at a later date.

Regarding Athletic Clearances prior to tryouts…below is the link to our Athletic Clearance instructions and forms for 2020-21. We realize that it may not be possible to get a physical examination at this time, but you should contact your pediatrician/primary care physician to find out when appointments for such will be available.
